of Waterford, passed away July 6, 2017 at 91 years of age. Born December 7, 1925 in Lapeer Co., Michigan, the daughter of the late George and Martha Stiles. Beloved wife of the late John Wherritt; loving mother of Nancy Wherritt, Stephen (Cindy) Wherritt, Fredrick (Karen) Wherritt and Donna Wherritt; dearest grandmother of Rachel (Jason), Stephen, Sarena and John (Kim); great grandmother of Sean, Nina, Jayven, Jaden, Harper and Parker; dear sister of Hilda, Janis, and the lates Ardis, George and Arthur. Mrs. Wherritt worked for many years at Bell Telephone in Pontiac. She then worked for General Motors retiring after 25 years of service. She truly loved her jobs , but providing a loving home was her main priority. She loved to sew, square dance, go camping and she was a wonderful cook.
