CARPENTER, BEATRICE "BEA" HOWARD of Orion Township, passed away January 30, 2023, at 96 years of age. Beatrice was Born on January 25, 1927 in Myrtle, Missouri to parents the late George Elmer and Wavie Alvie Newman (nee Gaither); beloved wife of the late Lee Carpenter for 30 years; cherished mother of Richard "Dick" (Susan) Howard; proud grandmother of Melissa Howard; preceded in death by siblings Gaither L. (Robertha) Newman, Delmar (Ruthie) Newman, and Wendel (Judy) Newman; the family wishes to extend appreciation to their mom's wonderful caretaker Charlotte Valance for roughly 14 years. Bea worked and retired from Stanley Works after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Apostolic church in Auburn Hills. In her free time, she loved to sing and watch birds. She was always very organized.  Beatrice will be deeply missed by all. A private service will take place at a later date.
