Bart (Buzz or Coach Buzz) passed away Saturday, August 17th after a courageous battle with cancer. Buzz was a dedicated family man, proud Clemson alumnus and avid fan of Notre Dame Preparatory School where his children attended and he coached. He is survived by his beloved wife Teresa (Modesette) and children Vinny, Dominic and Maria; mother, Nancy Disler Famularo; sisters, Susan (Buddy) Christensen and Lynn (Tom) Bauer; brother in law, Mark (Jean) Modesette; father in law, Joe Modesette; dear friends John and Kim Stearley; dozens of relatives, particularly Karen and Joe Clifford who were a second set of parents. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Bart Famularo. Buzz will be remembered for his activity at Notre Dame Prep as a parent and coach. He and Teresa have made many life-long friendships with parents, faculty and students while their children attended Notre Dame. He attended Brother Rice and Waterford Kettering High Schools. He was a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a degree in Business/Finance. He enjoyed vacationing with his family every year in Hilton Head and proudly wore Clemson orange. Buzz began a career in banking in 1988 at TCF bank in Minneapolis and most recently served as a Commercial Banker at Huntington Bank where he touched many lives and developed many lasting relationships and friendships. Buzz was a devoted family man who touched all he met with his sense of humor, and kindness. He met the love of his life, Teresa, at TCF bank and they have shared 26 years of marriage together. Teresa has been a constant source of love, strength and support throughout their marriage and has been especially strong throughout his courageous battle with cancer. He was so very proud of his children and they and Teresa were the light of his life. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, MEMORIAL DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FAMILY FOR FUTURE DESIGNATION.
