PICKETT, BARBARA A. of Waterford, passed away September 19, 2021 at 86 years of age. Loving wife of Robert "Bob" for 67 years; dear mother of the late Diane (David) Cue, John Pickett, Susan (the late David) Lawson, and Julie Stock; grandmother of Christine (Doug), Jessica, Rob, Michelle (Rich), Chad, Brandon, and Cassie; great grandmother of Colton. Barb was a librarian at Jayno Adams Elementary School in Waterford for many years. In her prime she was an outstanding bowler; enjoyed sporting events with a particular love of baseball; traveling and camping with family and friends in their motor home; wintering in Florida; and trips to Las Vegas and Mt. Pleasant to play the slot machines. For the quiet times she loved fishing and caught 'em all including pan fish, walleye and king salmon. For many years she also enjoyed playing euchre at the C.A.I. with friends. What she will be most remembered for are the decades of wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations she loved to host in her home. Barb loved and lived for her precious family. Her warm smile and sparkling eyes will always be treasured.
