JENKINS, BARBARA J., of White Lake, passed away August 5, 2020 at 89 years of age. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 4, 1930 daughter of the late Kenneth and Blanche Wheeler; loving wife of the late James; cherished mother of Larry (Beth) Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Doug (Kim) Jenkins, and the late James P. Jenkins; grandmother of 11; great grandmother of 6; sister of Marilyn, Sandra, David, Norman, Gary, Robert, Karen, Charlene and predeceased by her brother William. Barbara was a selfless wife and mother; sweet and kind; quiet but strong. Her favorite things in life were simple, going out to lunch and finishing her meal with a nice piece of pie or ice cream; tooling around Lake Neva in a pontoon boat; watching the stock prices on CNBC; playing the slots. Grand things she liked, trips to Europe; Vegas with the "Jenkins"; and time spent with family. Her presence in the kitchen and in our lives will be dearly missed by all who loved her. A private service will be held for the immediate family Monday August 10, 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers donations be made to American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
