EDWARDS, BARBARA JANE, (nee Blight), age 95, of Waterford, passed away July 27, 2021. Barb was born on August 12, 1925, in Eagle River, Michigan, daughter to Roscoe and Edna Blight (nee Bawden). Loving wife of the late Walter "Skee" for 63 and a half years; dear mother of Gary (Patty) Edwards and Jane (Gerald) Ostrom; proud grandmother of Daniel (Jennifer) Edwards, Troy (Sarah) Edwards, Jason (Kate) Ostrom and Jared (Jenna) Ostrom; great grandmother of Zachary Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Oliver Edwards, Harper Edwards, Joshua Ostrom, Jackson Ostrom, Julia Ostrom, and Jordan Ostrom. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was a longtime member of Community Presbyterian Church for many years, where she served as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. In her spare time she enjoyed boating, knitting, shopping and traveling with her senior friends. Her favorite place on earth was the Keweenaw peninsula where she was born and raised. The most important part of her life was her family. She loved them as deeply as they loved her. Inurnment Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet, Michigan.
