RUDY' of Waterford, passed away suddenly, October 10, 2017 at 90 years of age. Loving husband of Ruth for 65 years; beloved father of Stephen (Donna) Martinez, James (Tammy) Martinez, the late Jefferson Martinez, and Jane (David) Martinez Wright; grandfather of 8; great great grandfather of 1; brother of Carmen (Salvador) Guizar, Louise (Robert) Lenz, Vera (Charlie Gamble) Sausser, and the late Trinidad (Carmen) Martinez. Rudy was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, WWII. He retired from the Pontiac Police Department (the 'Bear') in 1981 and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, but most important to Rudy was his devotion to his loving family.
