BRETZLOFF Jr., ARTHUR AUGUST; of Waterford, passed away December 14, 2019 at 80 years of age. Born December 17, 1938 in Pontiac, Michigan, son of the late Arthur and Mildred Bretzloff; beloved husband of Ruth Bretzloff nee Bellant for 54 years; loving father of Arthur Raymond (Monica) Bretzloff, Ruth Ann (Daniel) Lyons; proud grandfather of Stephanie (Scott), Ted (Rachel) and Tea Cup and great grandfather of Hunter, Sean, Makayla, Chase, Nolan, Gracie, Kaylynn and Airyanna. Also survived by his sister Freida (the late William) McKinney. Arthur served his country by signing up for the United States Navy at the age of 17. In 1965 he married the love of his life Ruth and never looked back. He was a dedicated tradesman who worked for many years in the Waterford School District as the Head Electrician Plumber. He was extremely passionate and hard working in anything he did. He enjoyed woodworking and made furniture, bowling, building trucks, was Ted's own personal Mechanic, Stephanie's donut supplier, Outdoorsman who hunted/fished, sitting on his deck and most importantly he would enjoy telling his grandkids yes even after their parents said no. Arthur was wonderful with his grandchildren and had a voice that could soothe a baby. Arthur will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
