DAVIS, ARDIS EILEEN, age 81 of Clarkston, passed away on March 30th, 2021. Ardis was born in Port Huron, Michigan on September, 17th 1939, Ardis was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Belva Lester (nee Harrison), and her loving husband, Roy. Ardis is survived by her children; Sherry (Jay) Wicker, DeeAnn Davis, Nancy Snyder, Tom Davis, and Jim Davis; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her sister Wava Hartman. Ardis, also known as "Big Red" to many, was a hard working woman of integrity that supported her family in every way. Ardis spent many years attending the recitals/sporting events of her children and grandchildren. To her grandchildren she was known as the "Cooking Grandma" and eventually achieved the title as an expert cook. Friends and family will remember the memories spent at Ardis's home, as it was a place to gather for cookouts, card games, and laughter. "Big Red" will always be remembered in loved ones hearts. As her wishes, Ardis' burial will take place at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Please keep Ardis's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
