COPEMAN, APRIL LYNNE (nee Kaska) surrounded by her loving family went to meet her Savior at the age of 67 on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 after a long battle with health issues. Loving wife of Marshall for 34 years; dear mother of Elizabeth (Steven) Munyon and Austin (Lauren) Copeman; grandmother of Preston; cherished daughter of the late Robert and the late Mae (nee Wilner) Kaska; sister of Dale (Debbie) Kaska and the late Craig (Sharon) Kaska; daughter in law of Kent and Reta Copeman; sister in law of Elaine Copeman. April was born November 3, 1953 in Detroit to Robert and Mae and they would raise April in Berkley along with her brothers Craig and Dale. She received her bachelor degree in Bible studies and theology from Florida Bible College and spent the subsequent years traveling with her mother, along with doting on her four nieces and nephews. April 4, 1987 she married Marshall Lloyd Copeman and together they raised their two children Elizabeth and Austin. April will be remembered by all those who knew her as a kind, compassionate, and caring person who actively sought to share her love of Jesus with everyone she met. She was known as a prayer warrior and kept copious journals chronicling both her prayers and the answers. April adored her husband and children and supported them through every step they took.
