BARNES, ANTHONY GENE, age 77 of Clarkston, MI passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born on October 5, 1943 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to parents Taylor and Gladys (Duke) Barnes. Toney retired from Durr Automation in 2009. He enjoyed gardening and working on his Mustang, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sons, and family. Toney is survived by loving wife, Sharon; sons: Toney, Steven, Michael (Anne), and Kevin; grandchildren: Tim (Billie), Kaylin (Larry), Chelsea, Tyler, Alexis, Jordan, and Briana; siblings: Jerry (Carolyn) Barnes, Brouse (Pat) Ross, Barry (Linda) Ross, Diane (David Clendenin) Stebbins, Dennis (Tammy) Ross, Philip (Celia) Ross, Ron (Jane) Ross, Taylor Lee Barnes, Garry, Katherine, James, Deborah, Pamela, and David; stepmother, Margie; sister-in-law, Barbara Nelson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents: Gladys and Harle Ross, Taylor Lee Barnes; siblings: Terry, Robert, and Larry Barnes; special niece, Pamela Barnes; in-laws: Richard and Goldie Nelson, Richard Jr. and Ona Nelson; special nephew, Christopher Nelson; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Barnes.
