BAKER ALYCE JO, age 86 of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1934 in Mancelona, MI to parents Carrol and Ruth Johnson. Alyce was a faithful member of United Faith Baptist Church in Pontiac where she also worked as the church secretary and ran the Prayer Chain. She loved reading her Bible, cooking, and watching Gunsmoke. Alyce was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and she loved going up north and visiting the farm where she was born and raised. Alyce is survived by her children: Connie (Rufino) Zamora, Daniel (Carrie) Malbouef, Timothy Malbouef, Ann (Bill) Bass, Dennis Malbouef, Carol Malbouef, Jane Resudek; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings: Connie (Mike) Kopka and Donna Quibell; special niece, Jean Lazar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Baker; sons: Bruce Malbouef and Roger Baker; and seven siblings. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD. Pastor Gary Davis officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 4-8pm and again, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association.
