MILLER, ALVIN C. of Waterford, passed away June 1, 2024 at 72 years of age. Loving husband of Sondra (née Hale); and the late Judith A. Miller; father of Alvin (Hannah) Miller II and Daniel Miller (Elucia); step father of Craig "CJ" Cantrell Jr. (Jamie); grandfather of Zachary, Cademon, and Kylie; step grandfather of Abigail; brother of the late Ray (Margaret) Miller and the late David Miller; best and lifelong friend of Bill (Sue) Fairman. Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elsie (née Forester) Miller. Al was a graduate of GMI and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a master's in manufacturing management, and retired from GM Proving Grounds in Milford. Al was a simple man who enjoyed his dogs, Luke and Ben; fishing; boating; lake life; and the outdoors. He loved classic cars and he believed to the end that he "lived a charmed life". He will always remain in our hearts. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 12 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Tuesday 11 AM until time of service.
