OVERTON, ALICE M. of Waterford, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2024 at 92 years of age. Loving wife of the late Victor for 50 years; dearest mother of Vicki (John) Sattler and Bill (Sharyn) Overton; grandmother of Tiffany (James), Will (Athena), Alycia (Randy), and Bryan (Ely); great grandmother of Ricardo (Grace), Isabella, Avery, Amelia, Juilet, Emerson, Mia, Cadence, Alyza, Micah, Max, Leonardo, and the late Sophia; great great grandmother of Moses; preceded in death by siblings Edwin VerLee and Etta Webb. Alice was a member of The Boulevard Church for over 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper in financial institutions in Oakland County and Detroit for many years. Alice was easy going and joyful and an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She enjoyed cross stitching; crocheting; was a wonderful cook and baker; and the perfect hostess. Her easy going personality made everyone comfortable in any setting. Her easy laugh and warm smile will be forever missed. Funeral service will held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 12 noon at The Boulevard Church, 623 E. Walton Blvd, Pontiac. Burial follows at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills. Family will receive friends Wednesday at church from 11 AM until time of service.
