of Clarkston, passed away July 5, 2019 at 81 years of age. Loving husband of Sally (née Maddix) for 60 years; dear father of Deanna (Patrick) Hopkins, Suzanne (the late Lynn) Rutterbush, Catharine (the late Robert) Bailey, Michelle Brown, and Tina (Jim) Cowen; grandfather of 7; great grandfather of 12; brother of Donald (Genevieve) Popour, Jeanne Jones, Mary Beth (David) Proper, and Marlene J. Thomas. Dean retired from GM in 1996 after 40 years of service. He was a faithful and long standing member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. When he wasn't spending time with his wonderful bride, daughters, and grandchildren, Dean enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing cribbage with the boys. His sense of humor, warm smile, and endearing stories, delivered with a twinkle in his eyes, will be dearly and forever missed by his loving family and friends.
