KLEIN, ALENE ETTA, of Clarkston, passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 90. Alene was born on May 19, 1932, in Onaway, Michigan to parents Charles and Faith (Haviland) Barager; beloved step-daughter of the late Avon Stevens. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Klein, who she married on June 17, 1950; Loving mother of Aaron (Mary) Klein; Janet (Mark) Purks, Steve (Laura) Klein, and Ron (Kelly) Klein; dear grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 1; cherished sister of Richard Stevens, the late Phyllis Wilson, the late Donald Stevens, David Stevens, Jack Stevens, the late Trudy Truax, the late Valerie Hoot, the late Douglas Barager, Faye Palmer, Lloyd Barager, Kathy Davis, and Penny Barager. Alene grew up in Atlanta, Michigan, where she graduated from Atlanta High School. In her younger years, Alene loved to spend her spare time sewing. Alene always put her family first and she cherished every moment she spent with her family by attending every game and performance for them. Alene was a huge party planner who made every holiday special for the family and always made cake for everyone. Alene also made the best apple pie and chicken and dumplings. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD at 1:00PM with burial following at Ottawa Park Cemetery. The Klein family will accept visitors Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Alene was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
