Agustin "Biro"
Rivera-Romero
Nov 8, 1969 — Feb 24, 2022
Agustin "Biro" Rivera-Romero, age 52, of Pontiac, MI died on February 24 at his home in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Rivera was born on November 08, 1969 to Agustin Rivera and Daisy Romero in Salinas, PR. Mr. Rivera moved with his mother and 3 of his sisters to Pontiac, MI and had been a native of the state since 1972. Those closest to Mr. Rivera knew of his affinity for ethnic and Latin cuisine, especially that of Puerto Rican and Southern Comfort foods. He was most proud of his Puerto Rican heritage, and would broadcast it through his love for salsa music and eccentric style of clothing. When Mr. Rivera wasn't working hard as a construction worker, you could find him in the bustling corridors of a shopping center purchasing the latest styles of footwear and outerwear. He was passionate about automobiles (enjoying fast cars and auto shows), and enjoyed the quiet of being near the ocean. However, his greatest passion was being around family and friends. Of all the things he was known for, his aptitude for telling a good joke and making people laugh was Biro's imprint on those he touched. Mr. Rivera is survived by Daisy (Enrique) Romero (Mother), Agustin Rivera (Father). He leaves behind 4 children- Stephanie Rivera-Kressbach, Clarissa (Carston) Clark, AJ Rivera and Xavier Rivera. His loving siblings- Vilma (Tyrone) Moore, Sonia (Rafa) Medina, Mirca (Juan) Escobar, Benjamin (Nevine) Arroyo, and Wendelyn Arroyo- as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers and acquaintances.
