William Arthur BETTS of Waterford, died July 8, 2012 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Hilda “Pat” Betts for 66 years; loving father of Robert (Shari) Betts, Barbara Woodside and the late William A. Betts Jr.; dear grandfather of Matt, Desiree, Will, Stephanie (Kevin), Lindsay (Dustin) and Jared, dearest great grandfather of 4.  Mr. Betts worked for Pontiac Motors retiring after 42 years of service.  He was Veteran of the  U S Army Air Corps., where he served as a cargo pilot. Bill was also a HAM radio operator with his call letters W8WHX.

Visitation : Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Funeral Service :  A Memorial service will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 5 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME, WATERFORD. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice.
