Robert John VanKUREN of Clarkston, age 69, passed June 16, 2012. Loving husband of Donna. Survived by his daughters Cheryl (John Motney) VanKuren, Amy (Jeff Murray) VanKuren, Robin (Jeff) Johnson and 4 step children. Also survived by his sisters Sandra Goitt, Sharon Geath, Linda (Ernie) Witt, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob had retired after 20 years with Superior Concrete. He was a Veteran of the US Army, a Life Member and Past Post Commander of the American Legion Chief Pontiac Post #377.

Visitation : Family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at our WATERFRD location.

Funeral Service :

Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 12:00 Noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD. Interment and military honors will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart or American Lung Associations. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
