After the death of your family member, life can seem uncertain and hopeless. Learning to cope with the trials ahead and regaining a sense of hope is the goal of Coats Funeral Home’s grief counseling and support groups. We offer two grief counseling groups and also can guide you to other resources for special needs/preferences.
Hope For Your Grief Journey
It is in the spirit of support and service we make available "Hope for Your Grief Journey" This support group provides education about the grief process, as well as an opportunity to receive emotional support and learn to cope in a safe, confidential setting. We believe that “there is strength in collective grief.” There is no cost and the group is open to the community. The group meets on the third Thursday of the month from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, 4301 Monroe at the corner of Sashabaw Road, across from the funeral home.
