Lois Ann SERRA of Waterford, passed away surrounded by her children on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 81 years of age. Lois and her late husband Albert (April 1, 2006) were extremely generous and giving. One of their greatest accomplishments was the creation of the Serra Family Foundation. This Foundation, established in 1997, provides funds to organizations that support education, medical research, poor and needy and religious organizations. Lois dedicated her life to her ten children: Mike (Laura) Serra of Scottsdale, AZ, Lynne (the late Tom) Parker of Clarkston, Alice (Bert) Reid of Hilton Head, SC, Mark (Kathy) Serra of Saginaw, Joe (Julie) Serra of Fenton, Amy (Jack) Albright of Clarkston, Mary (Pat) McMahon of Clarkston, Ann (Patrick) Lowney of Clarkston, Peter (Cristina) Serra of Grand Blanc and Jeffrey Serra of Waterford. Sister of Dorothy (Jack) Cauley of Bloomfield Hills. Sister in law of Maria (Carl) Mauro of Davisburg. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by her parents George and Arlyle Oliver, her sister Arlyle (the late Richard) Doyle and her grandson Mitchell Albright. The Serra family wishes to thank her many caregivers: Laurie Richards, Melanie and Chuck Henwood, Carla and George Petherbridge, Kimbra Johnson and Allie Adams.

Thursday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at our CLARKSTON location.
Rosary Service Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lois will lie in state at the church on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
