BLAZAK,
THOMA WALTER of Orion, MI. February 15, 2007 at 62 years
of age. Born June 24, 1944 in Hammond, IN to the late Walter J. and Helen
Blazak. Dear father of Kevin Blazak of Green Bay, WI, Nicholas Blazak of
Lake Orion, MI, Karen (Darryl) Mattson of Hurley, WI; Significant other and
best friend of Bernadine “Benia” Lorenger; Step-father of Kenneth Lorenger;
Grandfather of Gabrielle, Danielle and Jonathon Mattson, Kal and Lauren
Lorenger; Brother of Cindy (George) Massi, Carolyn Wagner, Jeff (Ruth)
Blazak and the late Michael Blazak; Also survived by many nieces, nephews
and dear friends. Thomas retired from the Michigan State Police as a
Trooper. He was a private investigator and was working for Code Enforcement
for Orion Township. He was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church,
Sons of the American Legion Sqaud #108, Troopers Assn and was a middle and
high school football official with the MHSAA. He also worked as a volunteer
at the Buick Open and headed up the Blazak Open. He was an avid golfer,
enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to cook.
Funeral Mass: Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: Sunday from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Thin Blue Line. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
