Beloved husband for 65 years to Mary Jane (nee: Brendel) Caswell; Loving father of the late Robert Caswell and Ann Bryan; Son of the late Guy and Annabelle (nee: Richardson) Caswell; Father-in-law of Margaret (George) Payne; Grandfather of NancyAnn Caswell Payne-Maugherman, Robert Bryan, Eric Bryan and Matt Payne; Great grandfather of Stefan, Margaret and Christian Maugherman; Brother of Bea Curran, Marvin Caswell and the late Wilfred and Dale Caswell; Brother-in-law of Betty Caswell and Shirley Caswell; Also loved by many nieces and nephews; Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII; A member of Oakland Ave. Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Telecom Pioneers, American Legion, the Waterford Golden Agers and was retired from Michigan Bell.

Funeral Service: Monday, November 19, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Interment will follow at Oxbow’s Lakeside Cemetery.

Visitation: Sunday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oakland Ave. Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
