CARTER, WILLIAM M. of Medina, OH formerly of Waterford , died August 30, 2007 at 85 years of age. Dear husband of the late Freda and the late Hazel; dear father of William (Dee Ann) Carter, Jr. and John Carter; grandfather of William III (Zoe), Robert, and Jeremy; great grandfather of Rachael. William retired from GM Parts Division on Joslyn Ave. in 1979. He was a veteran of the US Army Ranger Company A WWII. He received 3 bronze stars in combat. William loved hunting, fishing and golf. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16 Pontiac.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Interment follows at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac.

Visitation: Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM.
