DALHAUS, ARLEN K. of Lake Orion. January 31, 2010 at 80 years of age. Loving husband of Margaret for almost 60 years. Dear father of John (Kay) Dalhaus and Mary (Dan) Durham. Beloved brother of Richard (Donna) Dalhaus and the late Donald (the late Pat) Dalhaus. Special grandfather of Lindsey (Chris) Davis, Jon Russell Dalhaus, Samantha Durham and the late Nicky Durham. Great grandfather of Raegan and Russell Kenneth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Arlen was a professional engineer his whole life, retiring from General Dynamics in 1994. He graduated from Edwardsville High School in Illinois in 1947, then served in the US Army during Korea. He graduated with his engineering degree in 1958 from the University of Illinois.

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 4, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1950 S. Baldwin Lake Orion. Interment will full military honors will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.

Visitation: Wednesday 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford and at church on Thursday after 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran School.
