KOONTER, ROBERT N., “Bob” of  Waterford, died January 13, 2010 at 64 years of age.  Beloved husband of Marty for 29 years; dear son of the late Joseph and Barbara Koonter; loving brother of Marilee Lauerman, Marge Stovel, Sue (Vaughn) Wilson, Judy (Dan) Hirt, the late Paul Koonter and the late Dave Koonter; dearest nephew “Bobby” to aunt Liz and family;  Bob is also survived by his sisters-in-law Mimi, Joan and Barb. He was also a wonderful uncle and “great” uncle.  Bob was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War, where he was a helicopter mechanic. He later retired after many years of service with Pontiac Lake Service working as an auto mechanic. 

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 10:00 a.m at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.  Pastor John H. Walworth officiating. 

Visitation: Thursday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.    

Memorial donations may be made to ALS of Michigan or Muscular Dystrophy Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
