BORING, JOSEPH D. of White Lake. January 14, 2010 at 78 years of age. Loving husband of Betty for 57 years, Betty and Joe were married January 10, 1953. Dear father of Cindi (Rolland) Boring-Sargent, Julie (Fred) Seelinger and Kathy Berlinn. Beloved brother of James (Melodye) Boring and the late Jean Leibler. Loving grandfather of Amy, Nick, Adam, Heather, Amy and Leslie. Great grandfather of Lexis, Damien, Caitlyn and Elijah. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph will be especially missed by the “Keego Kids”. Mr. Boring worked in law enforcement for over 40 years. Joe started his career at the West Bloomfield Police Department. He retired from the Auburn Hills police department and was then an Oakland County Sheriffs Deputy assigned to the county parks. He was a veteran of the US Army during Korea.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 16, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church (4301 Monroe at Sashabaw Rd., Waterford).

Visitation: Friday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.
