Bernard Joseph Slabinski, Jr.

Bernard Joseph Slabinski, Jr., age 64 of Waterford, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1959 in Los Angeles, California to late parents Bernard Slabinski and Sandra Segler. Bernard proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of American Legion post 63, K of C, and the Eagles 2887 club. Bernard enjoy many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a truck driver for Madison Electric and in his free time enjoyed riding motorcycles. Bernard is survived by his children: Charles Slabinski and Rebekah Slabinski; grandchildren: Camron, Brayden, Tegan, Jacob, and Ozaria; brothers: Chris Slabinski, Pat (Christi) Slabinski, and Scott (Irene) Segler; companion, Lori Reinke; many nieces and nephews; close friends: Phil, Ara, and Joe; and several other friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Slabinski. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
